One of the core beliefs that I touch upon in my book, Discovering and Living Your Soul’s Purpose, is that you are not responsible for other peoples emotional reactions, ever. Most people believe that they are and that breeds a society of victimhood, disempowered individuals who stay in a constant flux of emotional toxicity, leading to co-dependent unhealthy relationships. Sound familiar?

I would like to point out the difference here between being responsible to your own emotions and how that differs from taking on the reactions of another, which has nothing to do with you.

Most peoples reactions are embedded in the past and when you trigger an emotion that is not healed, released in love or forgiven, it comes back into the moment as if it still at the original point of it’s creation and responds in a negative, unhealthy manner. Most experience this as mistrust, guilt, unworthiness, anger, fear, frustration or anxiety, there are many more emotions that can come through like rage or the flight or fight response which is conditioned into the body’s chemical releases at a young age when trauma set in.

One thing that you can personally do is recognize within yourself that when you feel an emotional reaction coming up within you, stay calm and observe it, ask where it first originated or why it is now present and what is asking to be healed, you might be very surprised by the answers you receive. When you see others reacting strongly in a negative way to your conversations, opinions or choices in life, it really has nothing at all to do with you, it is based on their own past or present beliefs and most peoples beliefs come from their dysfunctional family patterns, generational inheritance on a cellular level, experiences which are seeking enlightenment and healing. The best and most influential relationship you can have with that person is to observe their reaction and continue on with what ever it is that you were speaking of, or discontinue and honor the other person inability to digest your own perception or ideas at the moment. Not everyone moves at the same pace, some people need more time than others to process what has happened, some people are unconscious of their pain and the origin of it’s traumatic miasm, it can take months to move through an experience or years even to recognize that you are experiencing deep pain within. You can reach out and ask for help and guidance, coaching or receive a healing from a qualified professional that can bring you gently yet firmly to a space of self-love and unconditional acceptance.

 *Definition of a Miasm: a hereditary genetic energetic disturbance or burden as it represents the body’s energetic weak-spot.

Luminous Crystal Light

It’s 2:20am and I just got started awake as my daughter Luminous woke me from within my dream asking me in the most innocent and quizzical voice possible, “You mean I am only worth $9.30 Mommy?” she looked at me with her huge blue eyes staring up at me waiting for me to offer her a lifelong lesson and I began with “Of course not sweetie” then I shot up out of my dream and sat up in bed seeing layers over layers of what this means to me, to her, to my most loved and cherished people on this planet, and then the big one-to life itself, the Earth.

I went back into the dream and I looked at her and tried to make up some excuse of how money isn’t the value of a person and that it did not matter what the numbers meant. She was given the value of her life in what she has presently created monetary. It jolted me awake because it questions the implications of life insurance, what one creates throughout life and how much of an impact that has in one’s psyche if you hold great value on money, which most people do, society creates that imprint. To most what you own and have financially is a decree to the world of how you are represented but what if you felt unlimited in your income potential and held no structure or belief that money had power of you, what then? You would mold yourself into what you really belief you are worth-everything and anything you desire, pretty sweet.

Some people die rich, leaving a nice inheritance to their partners and children, others leave debt, most don’t leave anything because they forgot or thought it was not important to take the necessary steps to make it a topic of choice to pursue.

This dream has me questioning, “If I die how much do I personally place on how others perceive my value based on what I leave to the world?” That is what shot me up out of the dream-who and what is real in deciding who holds value and who doesn’t? YOU do!

I think of my Mother for a moment and when I read her monthly benefits from the government and the equivulent of what she is worth when she dies as a death benefit it leaves me thinking I will not let my Mother live with the awareness that she is worth more dead than alive, it’s a sick reality as many laws create that truth on paper in the minds of the people who want to make the buck. There is much I can get into here on this topic but will digress for sake of the main topic.  It’s a terrible injustice to many is all I will say.
To hear my own daughters voice quivering quizzically and inquiring with a pondering remark,

“Am I only worth 9.30$?”

I Am Free To Be ME!

“No honey, you are not.” I reply gently.

“But that is what they say I am?”Luminous retorts back to me shyly.

“I think differently, that you offer so much more to life, the value you offer is the love that you have in your heart, the gleaming beam of light that flows from your eyes, the brilliant mind that you have, the unending joy that you have to offer, the brightness of your laughter and the gentleness of your offering your love and kindness to all your animals, all 22 of them. You are worth so much more than 9.30$!”

But, it does leave a sour taste in my mouth knowing that as a child her question does merit a much more in-dept

h look at how I personally value my life and what I give to the world,  my worth and not soley monetary. How can I show the world, the Earth, the people that I love the most that I am worth a gazillion dollars and make them feel that way also? (remember, it’s not the money, but the emotion) What can I do daily to bring to my own awareness that I must show up acting and being and feeling like a billion and that every single thing matters to me in kindness and in gratitude because at any moment it can all be taken away from me, the appreciation.

It’s an absurd thought thinking that your death even amounts to money, what a system! Life and relationships are not about money, money is a relationship-but not the only one and don’t let your mind or ego fools you-if you take a moment to see the incredible value that each person you meet brings to the world, they too can begin to feel that they also have to step up to the plate so they can be accountable to their greatness,you can be a mirror to their brilliance.

The world would be a different place and all we have to do is change how we perceive our personal value, quantify it and then take the steps to create what we know deep in our heart what we can offer and who we can be.

It’s a powerful indicator when we emotionally experience our past in the present moment and become conscious of it, and it usually happens every minute if we are not in check with ourselves.
It shows up in how we communicate (lovingly to others and self, or negatively), how we presently hold ourselves physically (the strong stance or the slouching shoulders?), and how we interpret our world via our thoughts and how much they lead us to beimg open to the world around us or shut us down because we are functioning from a past experience that left a dent in our hearts and minds.
“Your game, your blame, your shame = your story” is a placid representation of how your mind and emotions continue to replay unhealed aspects from the past and bring them in to your current reality and relationships to the world around you.

Their usually is a hidden agenda amongst most human beings and the intention to just show up for another is mostly reserved for parents who have the natural tendency to love their children unconditionally or for individuals who have committed to taking courses, online workshops, ongoing seminars, hired coaches and mentors to impregnate a path that is most suitable to curb the outmoded appetites that are not their own, but have been instilled into them by societal upbringing and environment influence, cultural beliefs and religious idealism.

Life is what you make it, no matter what your past, look at Oprah and Tony Robbins, two exceptional human beings who have impacted the lives of millions of people all over the world. They both have had traumatic childhoods and have suffered emotional, sexual and mental abuse. This did not stop them from believing in themselves, they recognized the shortcomings of their environment and the people in it, and they sought to reclaim their own sense of dignity, honesty to self, and integrity to their true being, the one who sought out love and acceptance but did not receive it from their parents or immediate family relations. Their shame, their blaming fell away as their story embraced a defined moment that claimed their future and birthright as their own, they embrace their future by envisioning what is possible? when this mindset kicks in, you begin to realize that the world truly is your playground, you get to create anything and everything you want, as long as you believe that you can.

If there is one thing our cosmic and universal brethren share with me it is this: you must believe…
They ask us, actually implore us to open our hearts and minds and believe- believe in something greater than yourself and begin to understand that you are a grand master playing this game. Your old pains from relationships, are not the person who arrives at your doorstep for a first date, unless of course you bring that past experience into your present and project that- you will see it show up time and again because that is what you are focusing on, relating to and seeing from your unhealed stories.

The story line here is this: your game is how you play life, your blame is not taking personal responsibility for your life and the shame is what you have yet to heal. Your stories are just that, stories to hide the unbearable pain of old wounds that are seeking closure, release and to be given the opportunity to breath into the moment with a new experience, with a new perception based on the moment that is happening right now. If you feel you are holding onto past experiences that are not serving you and desire to breakthrough to a new level of self acceptance, reach out and ask for help, you will love yourself for it and be amazed at what can happen when you trust another to support you.

Everyone has choice in any given situation, everyone. No one should be left behind, and most importantly our Planet Earth should be placed on a daily basis as the #1 provider and source for our existence and experiences, to not be grateful, give thanks and to remind yourself that the Sun and Earth itself breathes so you may live, is an act of unconsciousness. When more people awaken to the awareness that we all need one another and that we are an extension of our Mother Earth, we can begin to see past our differences, our age old beliefs which no longer work and begin to embrace one another as equals.
